“KUANGSHAN Speed” Shines Again: Henan KUANGSHAN Baosteel Crane Passes Expert A-Inspection

Recently, the baosteel crane tailored by KUANGSHAN CRANE for the Baosteel Zhanjiang Iron & Steel project — a double-hook beam gantry crane — has successfully passed the expert A-inspection.

This crane adopts PLC + inverter control for the entire system, enabling smooth speed regulation and precise positioning, significantly improving operational efficiency. It is equipped with a safety monitoring system and a CMS equipment condition monitoring system, allowing real-time operation tracking and early abnormality warnings. In addition, the crane is designed with interfaces for future unmanned upgrades, fully meeting Baosteel’s requirements for intelligent manufacturing.

Behind this outstanding achievement lies the close collaboration between KUANGSHAN and Ouyeel Industrial Products, the company responsible for the procurement of the crane and supporting components for the Baosteel project. Ouyeel provided full support in areas such as component sourcing and quality control.

KUANGSHAN CRANE established a special project task force, led by national model worker Li Jie and the company’s major project team, to tackle the challenges of tight schedules, high technical standards, and complex component integration. By optimizing processes and refining responsibilities, the teams overcame multiple obstacles through efficient and transparent cooperation. As a result, production was completed two months ahead of schedule, fully meeting delivery conditions — a true demonstration of “KUANGSHAN Speed” dan “KUANGSHAN Quality.”

The A-inspection was conducted by an expert panel consisting of representatives from Baosteel Zhanjiang Project Team, Ouyeel Industrial Products, Dalian Baoxin Cranes, dan Shanghai Jinyi Testing. Over two days, the team carried out a comprehensive review of self-inspection records, material certificates, and flaw detection reports, followed by powered testing of the crane’s lifting, trolley, and electrical systems. All inspection items met the A-inspection guidelines and national standards. The experts gave high praise to KUANGSHAN quality control system dan product performance.
