Crane cabins from Henan Mine Crane are the core control unit and safety protection carrier for overhead and gantry cranes. They serve as both the command center for lifting operations and a dedicated protective enclosure for operators against harsh industrial environments, including high-altitude work, extreme temperatures, heavy dust, and corrosive conditions. With years of deep expertise in the crane supporting industry, we design and manufacture our crane cabins in strict compliance with national and international standards, delivering modern crane cabin solutions that integrate precision control, safety protection, ergonomic comfort, and high efficiency. Our products are fully adaptable to various overhead and gantry crane models, as well as both conventional and special working conditions.

적용 가능한 시나리오: Extreme working conditions including metallurgical casting workshops, high-temperature smelting plants, severe cold/heat outdoor sites, chemical corrosion environments, and high-dust mines
Multi-Dimensional Selection Classification, Adaptable to Different Equipment and Site Layouts
In addition to the core product series, we can provide full-dimensional customized selection according to the crane structure, workshop layout, and on-site operation habits, perfectly matching your equipment installation and use requirements:
Classification by Access Mode of Crane Cabins
According to different workshop passages and crane installation positions, we provide 3 mainstream access modes, taking into account operational safety and access convenience:
1. Side-Entry Crane Cabins
Structural Definition: The operator enters the crane cabin from the side parallel to the direction of the crane’s trolley travel rails
Core Advantages: Short access route, no structural interference when opening the door, convenient and safe access; high efficiency of daily inspection and shift change; the door opening direction does not occupy the space in the crane span direction, suitable for most conventional workshop layouts
적용 가능한 시나리오: General model for more than 90% of conventional overhead and gantry cranes, suitable for conventional workshops with sufficient walkway width and safe side access channels, and is currently the most widely used access mode in the industry
2. End-Entry Crane Cabins
Structural Definition: The operator enters the crane cabin from the end parallel to the crane span direction
Core Advantages: Adaptable to special crane structures with no installation/access space on the side, does not occupy the lateral space of the trolley travel direction, and can maximize the use of workshop width
적용 가능한 시나리오: Scenarios where the lateral space of the crane is limited, the workshop span is compact, or the crane structure is special (such as the end installation of double-girder overhead cranes, narrow gantry cranes), and side-entry installation cannot be realized
3. Top-Entry Crane Cabins
Structural Definition: The operator enters the crane cabin from the top through the safety passage on the top of the workshop, via the drive side walkway on the top of the crane and a special inclined ladder
Core Advantages: Does not occupy the lateral and end operation space of the crane at all, no risk of door opening interference, adaptable to super large and special structure lifting equipment, and personnel access does not affect the lifting operation below
적용 가능한 시나리오: Large/extra-large overhead and gantry cranes, special workshop spaces without side/end access channels, special scenarios where there is no ground safe access channel in the crane operation area, mostly used in large lifting equipment in metallurgy, heavy equipment manufacturing and other industries
Benefits of Using Crane Cabins
Full-Dimensional Safety Protection, Securing Operation Safety Bottom Line
Crane cabins create an exclusive rigid physical protective barrier for operators, effectively isolating direct harm from harsh environments such as prolonged high-temperature exposure, severe cold, heavy dust, and harmful gases. They also resist accidental impacts from splashes and falling objects during lifting operations, providing maximum safety protection for operators in emergency hazardous conditions and reducing personal injury risks.
Different from the vision limitations of remote and ground operation, the high-altitude control perspective of crane cabins puts operators in close proximity to the working area. Through panoramic wide viewing windows, operators can directly, clearly and real-time monitor the hook lifting process, load position and surrounding working environment, completely eliminate visual blind spots, significantly reduce misoperation risks, and improve the accuracy and safety of heavy-load lifting operations.
Crane cabins are standard equipped with multi-directional adjustable ergonomic soft-covered seats and anti-glare dedicated lighting systems, with optional supporting facilities including air conditioning, industrial heaters, air purification systems and noise reduction modules. This creates a comfortable control environment, effectively relieves physical fatigue and mental tension of operators during long-term high-intensity operations, and ensures sustained focus and high working efficiency.
Standardized Management & Long-Term Durability, Adapting to Plant Standardized Operation
Compared with ground/remote operation without crane cabins, lifting equipment fitted with crane cabins can fix an exclusive special operation post, clarify certification requirements for post holders, with clear rights and responsibilities to facilitate standardized plant management. The integrated neat structure optimizes the layout appearance of plant equipment, while the fully enclosed protective design reduces environmental wear of core control components, ensuring long-term durability and lower long-term operation and maintenance costs.
All our crane cabins are designed and precision-manufactured in strict compliance with GB/T 14407-1993 national standards, with full-process quality control over every production step. Key specifications and designs are as follows:
Communication System (Optional Configuration): Fitted with radio intercom or loudspeaker to support multi-equipment scheduling and on-site communication.
Temperature Control (Optional Configuration): Electric heating equipment for environments below 5℃, maintaining a stable comfortable operating temperature of 10-30℃.
Modular Customization: Supports non-standard customization based on customer’s site layout and functional requirements, ensuring a perfect fit with the crane, workshop and working conditions.
