In the opening year of China’s 15th Five-Year Plan, KUANGSHAN CRANE received orders worth more than RMB 400 million on the first working day following the Spring Festival, marking a strong start to the year and another important achievement for the company.

Through independent innovation and the replacement of imported equipment, KUANGSHAN CRANE designed and customized a batch of automated cranes for die handling for the stamping workshop of a well-known Chinese automobile manufacturer.

Automated Cranes for Automotive Stamping Workshops

These automated cranes integrate intelligent control, precision positioning and multiple safety functions. Together with specialized lifting devices, they enable the automated transfer and management of dies within the stamping workshop.

Automatic Positioning and WCS Management

The cranes feature automatic positioning, WCS management, zone protection and obstacle avoidance. Combined with specialized lifting devices, these functions support automated die transfer and management throughout the workshop.

Three Operating Modes

Each crane provides three operating modes: control room operation, mobile PA operation and remote control. These operating options make the cranes safe, convenient and efficient to use.

Six-Axis Bidirectional Movement

The specialized lifting device can extend along the X and Y axes and rotate around the Z axis. Working together with the crane travel mechanisms, it provides six-axis bidirectional trajectory movement and can handle dies of different specifications.

Millimeter-Level Positioning Accuracy

The automated cranes for die handling are equipped with anti-sway control. Combined with the high-precision servo control of the lifting device, the system achieves millimeter-level positioning accuracy.

Intelligente veiligheidsbescherming

The electrical control system incorporates laser anti-collision protection, light curtain zone protection, video monitoring and 3D vision digital twin technology. These functions provide real-time protection for the safe operation of the cranes.
