500t Gantry Crane by KUANGSHAN CRANE Aids Ma’anshan Bridge Construction

Recently, the 500t gantry crane manufactured by our company assisted China Railway No.9 Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd. in the successful passing of the first round of overall assembly acceptance for the Z3 steel tower of the Ma’anshan Yangtze River Rail-cum-Road Bridge, marking another new breakthrough in China’s bridge construction.

As a key equipment supplier for this super project, more than 10 units (sets) of high-quality crane products including 500t and 400t models manufactured by KUANGSHAN CRANE have all been applied to the hoisting of bridge structures such as the main steel towers of the project, providing strong support for the construction of the Yangtze River Rail-cum-Road Bridge. It is reported that the bridge adopts a three-tower and two-main-span design with a single span of 1120 meters and a continuous double-span length of 2240 meters, making it one of the world’s largest-span three-tower cable-stayed bridges.

Following its support for national-level bridge projects such as the Jianzhou Bridge, Changtai Yangtze River Bridge, and Zhangjinggao Yangtze River Bridge, KUANGSHAN CRANE has once again undertaken the important mission of “Major Power Heavy Equipment, Intelligent Manufacturing for a Strong Nation”.
