Compared with a Single-Girder Gantry Crane, its semi-gantry structure reduces the use of ground rails and support legs, making it more suitable for applications with a single-sided runway, limited space, or a need to keep ground passageways clear.

The crane can be configured with hooks, grabs, electromagnetic lifting magnets, and other lifting devices. A cantilever structure can also be added to the outer side of the support leg to expand the working range. Case Study: Semi Single Girder Gantry Crane for Glass Product Handling in Myanmar

The customer needed to lift and transfer fragile glass products in a finished-product storage area, with particular attention to preventing product damage during handling and ensuring crane anti-overtravel safety.
