Solved Problem:

This time share one classic case Which one crane i should choose about the Overhead Crane and Gantry Crane used indoor. We received an inquiry about crane from Client from Argentina, who plan to use the crane in his workshop. But don't know which crane is suitable.

The problems we meet during this project:

  • No pillars to support the crane in his workshop
  • The clear height of workshop is limited considering of the lifting height client request.
  • 3.Lifting & traveling speed: dual speed and VVVF Speed

Solution we provide:

  • About the problem of no pillars, we recommend two model crane, EOT Crane and Gantry Crane
  • EOT Crane: build the pillars to support the crane (need the foundation)
  • Gantry crane: crane possess the supporting legs, don't need to build the pillars.
  • We adopt the low headroom type electric hoist, this type hoist will run on the top of main girder and can effectively increase the lifting height.
  • We adopt the dual speed hoist with two lifting motor to realize the dual lifting speed, and adopt the Yaskawa Converter to realize the frequency speed.

Result:

  • Client don't want to damage his concrete floor to lay the foundation for building pillars. Moreover because the crane traveling distance is long, the cost of EOT Crane is higher than the gantry crane. Client finally approve the gantry crane.
  • 2.Finalize the project within budget and our crane and service got the praise from client.
