10t gantry crane Mauritius 2

The customer is a well-established building materials group in Mauritius, serving local construction and infrastructure projects with a mature concrete-products operation. This 10 Ton Gantry Crane project supports its growing material-handling needs.

As production expanded, the customer planned to add a gantry crane to its concrete-component area. The crane will lift precast slabs, drainage pipes, and similar products from their molds, then transfer them to the next workstation or an outdoor storage area.

As this was the first cooperation between both parties, the customer needed more than confirmed crane parameters. Rail supply, foundations, mobile power, and local installation also had to be clearly defined in a practical supply plan.

10 Ton Gantry Crane for Concrete Component Handling

The customer needed new outdoor lifting equipment beside its existing workshop. Its main tasks are to remove concrete drainage components from molds and transfer them to the next process or storage area.

Before ordering, the basic parameters were clear, but the customer planned to install the crane with a local team. KUANGSHANCRANE therefore confirmed the site interfaces and combined the 10 Ton Gantry Crane, rails, cable reel, and related components into one supply package. Once the configuration, price, and installation questions met the customer’s expectations, production began.

  • Rated load: about 10 tons;
  • Span: 12 m;
  • Lifting height: 4 m;
  • Traveling length: 30 m;
  • Power supply: 400 V, 50 Hz, three-phase;
  • Outdoor operation;
  • Rails and electric traveling system included.

The customer also supplied a satellite image showing the planned installation area beside the existing workshop. The span, traveling route, and rail length were determined around production lanes, vehicle access, and concrete-component storage zones.

A Complete 10 Ton Gantry Crane Solution: Rails, Power, and Installation

The key question was not simply which gantry crane to select, but whether it could be installed and operated correctly after arriving in Mauritius.

KUANGSHANCRANE addressed each concern with a defined solution:

Customer ConcernKUANGSHANCRANE Solution
Will the supplier provide the rails?P30 rails are included, avoiding local re-selection and purchase.
How much rail is required for 30 m travel?Two 30 m P30 rails, 60 m in total, matched to the crane traveling mechanism.
How should the rail foundation and embedded parts be prepared?Rail layout and foundation requirements are defined from the general arrangement, with installation documents supplied.
How is the crane powered while traveling?A 30 m cable and cable reel match the 30 m traveling range.
Can the local 400 V supply be used?The electric hoist, traveling motors, and control system are configured for 400 V, 50 Hz, three-phase power.
What support is available for local installation?Installation instructions, reference videos, technical files, and remote guidance are provided.

Rail Requirements Confirmed Before Purchase

The customer asked whether rails and foundation details were included. KUANGSHANCRANE supplied two 30 m P30 rails, 60 m in total, matched to the crane wheels and traveling mechanism. General arrangement and installation requirements were also provided so the customer could prepare the rail foundation and embedded parts locally.

Mobile Power Matched to the Traveling Distance

The crane must travel across a 30 m working area, so a fixed cable was unsuitable. The package includes a 30 m cable and cable reel. As the crane moves, the reel pays out and retrieves the cable to power the CD-type electric hoist, traveling mechanism, and control system. Confirming the cable, reel, and travel range together prevents length mismatches.

Documents and Guidance for Local Installation

Because the customer’s local team will install the rails and crane, the project team supplied installation documents and reference videos in advance.

The materials cover:

  • Layout of the two rails;
  • Assembly of the main crane structures;
  • Connection of the cable reel and electrical system;
  • Site conditions required before installation;
  • Key inspection points during installation.

After delivery, KUANGSHANCRANE continues to provide remote technical guidance. As the crane has not yet entered operation, this case describes only the documents and support already supplied.

Full-Service Support from Order to Delivery

Trust in a first project must continue after the order. During production, KUANGSHANCRANE shared manufacturing photos and progress updates so the customer could follow the main structures, traveling mechanisms, and shipping preparations.

Visible progress also helped the customer coordinate rail-foundation work, installation personnel, and site preparation.

The service process remained continuous: technical details and supply scope were confirmed before ordering, actual progress was shown during manufacturing, and installation documents and remote guidance remained available after delivery.
